Potentially Habitable Planet Found

  “Potentially Habitable Planet Found”

I thought that was an interesting headline. So, what if???

Maybe we could persuade God to separate the wheat from the tares and send all the tares to this other planet.

Or consider this:  What if they find there is already life there? And what if God had done a similar creation there, only His first couple had made a different choice? What if Eve, or her counterpart, had said, "Satan, get thee behind me. What you say is very plausible. The fruit certainly does look good to eat, and it doesn't seem reasonable that God would let us die just for eating it. But we're going to trust Him and take His word for it anyway." Then suppose that they turned away from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and ate, instead, from the tree of Life that was in the midst of the garden. What do you think life would be like on that planet?   No thorns, no thistles, no pain in childbirth. No death! It's hard to imagine what the history of that planet would be like! I guess we'll have to wait for that new heaven and new earth to find out.
